I haven't heard many people talk about this series but I definitely understand the hype from those of whom I have heard rave about this book. Let me just say this, for a man named Henry, he sure knew how to put it down

this book was a pleasant surprise. i loved the premise of the plot so i gave this a shot on a pure whim and i’m glad i did. it felt like a short and sweet book - time simply didn’t exist when i read this, i basically finished it in one sitting - and yet i don’t think anything felt rushed.

i like Abbi. i thought perhaps that the innocent and naive thing would feel over-exaggerated and repetitive but it actually felt just right and believable. i also like Henry, but i’m hoping we get to build on his character more in the following books because something still isn’t quite there with him.

but i do feel like this was a solid start to this series and i can only hope that the rest can follow suit.

If there is anything I've learned from this experience it's that I'm more of a comedic romance lover. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed reading this book and it was fun and steamy and I didn't want to put it down. But, I had palm face too many times and it want in a funny story of way. Its just a book type for me with this one.

this was just not it. the mmc was rude, and the fmc so naive. hated them both.

It’s giving….50 shades and a mix of bared to you.

Listened on audiobook

WOLF.

Color me intrigued with this book. I’m not usually into these tropes but the book club I’m in suggested it. I’m so happy I listened.

I think all the events happened a little quickly (I love a slow burn) but I’m interested to see what happens.

I was not prepared for what was inside of this book. I had to check the author a few times because I just kept being shocked that the author of The Simple Wild also wrote this smutty age gap, CEO/assistant banger. This series is addictive and definitely one where you can't pause in between books because life comes at you fast with the drama that is in these books.

Henry Wolf is everything. I don't care. I don't care, I love him and I won't hear a negative thing about him now or ever.
