This was fun but I was expecting some sort of real conflict and not just a cliffhanger ending. I'm not hooked enough on their love story to want to read book 2.

I do not understand the fascination with this book other than it's a steamy read. The heroine is incredibly cliché, insecure, immature and so annoyingly obsessed with Henry. Let's be honest, there is more to life than lusting and thinking non-stop about your handsome boss. The attraction did not work for me and I did not get what he sees in her, especially given his playboy background story.
I found it to be a toxic relationship where the male lead takes advantage of the heroine's lack of life experience and naïveté because of her sheltered upbringing. He gives her mixed signals which only adds more to her insecurity and leads to even more immature behaviour. The girl obviously has no backbone and I hoped that she would grow as a character toward the end, only to be left disappointed...
