i agree with other reviews that characters having multiple names was confusing. sometimes someone was mentioned and i wouldn’t know who it was. the nicknames (rix, hammer, etc) also sucked. i also personally couldn’t get over that a high school girl (17 years old) was hanging out with them? seemed unnecessary. i also felt like perhaps multiple storylines were being set up (i know the next book is hammer and hollis i think, but what about flip and the neighbor? or hemi and dallas? idk)

Hockey Romance
Brothers best friend
Roommates

He sends her a cake that say “Please sit on my face”

He’s afraid of his feelings and it causes a lot of drama but he also wants to fuck it out instead of feeling them so the sex is mafia romance level hot. Just a lot of it and a lot of different ways. Also there’s a cucumber scene and I’ll just leave this review right there.

I couldn’t get enough of these two!!!
Beatrix,Tristan, and their merry band of fun-flirty-flawed friends made for a supremely entertaining read, and I look forward to the next chapter of their journeys.

I was given the chance to listen to this book as an audiobook and I can tell you with certainty that the narrators of this book were perfect. Beatrix rage quits her job and moves out of her apartment and in with her hockey playing brother and his best friend. The best friend who hates her as much as she hates him. Tristan and Beatrix can’t stand each other, but close quarters can make things change. Enemies to lovers, brothers best friend, lots and lots of spice, and a little angst thrown in and I would give this book 8 stars if I could! Loved it!

I wish we could give half stars because this would be a 2.5 star read for me.

We all know I love hockey books but this one fell a bit flat for me. It had all the elements of what look for in a hockey romance but there was a disconnect that kept me from getting attached to the characters. I wasn’t emotionally involved if that makes sense?

I did like that it was dual POV! That helped understand Tristan’s motivations throughout when they weren’t communicating well lol

If you’re looking for an easy, spicy hockey romance then this might be it for you!

Would I recommend? Unsure. It wouldn’t be my first suggestion but maybe!
