I binged this in a day, and I wanted to love this so much, but the ending absolutely killed it for me.

I liked:
-Autistic representation. God, I felt for Cassandra so fucking much on so many levels, and I HATED the (unfortunately realistic) way that people kept talking to her and about her
-The development with her
Spoilersister
, who turned out to be an interesting character
-The premise of the story
-The writing style and sense of humor

I didn't like:
-The big reveal. It's not even a spoiler. Cassandra is Autistic. I thought that was... pretty obvious from the first few pages
-The whole middle of the book is about her trying to fix her relationship with her ex-boyfriend, and it really starts to drag
-When I realized all the information about Greek mythology had no real bearing on the story, I started skimming over it in frustration
-Seeing colors for emotions was a cool idea AT FIRST, and then colors are flying across the room and meeting each other, and it just got ridiculous
-The ending
-The ending
-THE FUCKING ENDING
-The ending ruined the entire premise of the story

Really slow start but picked up as it went on. Lovely use of colors/feelings. 3.5

I really enjoyed how things tied together and how the novel ended, i just didn’t like how long it took to get there. The start of the book was very very slow. It was an interesting representation of neurodivergence, i loved the representation of emotions through colours. Overall a good story but was just very slowly paced.

Loved the ending and the arc of the story! This was done so so well!

I really like it when a book totally surprises me. This is not a book I would normally pick up and this is not a genre I normally read. But I'm glad I did. It's a great story and by the end of the book I fell in love with quirky Cassandra.

How do you rate a book that was amazing right up until the last 5 minutes? I loved this story, and I hated the ending!
Why couldn't they be OK with Will just not being with either of them? All of the things Cassandra learned, and it turns out Cassandra is the one who doesn't believe her own prophesies.
Maybe that's the point, but if so, it's as unsatisfying as most Greek myths.

Audiobook narrator Kristin Atherton was very good except for the loud, squeaky, little girl voice she used for Sophie, which is extremely obnoxious.

An autistic woman that can time travel and whose special interest is Greek mythology?!! Yes please!! This book was so fun to read. It was refreshing reading the perspective of a fellow neurodiverse woman.
