It spoke to me. It made me laugh and it made me stress out and worry for her. Really loved reading it.
First time reading a book because it was Reese Witherspoon's pick but I'm not so sure if I enjoyed it that much.
I understand Cassandra is a neurodivergent individual so trying to follow her thoughts felt a bit messy to me. But I think I'm just over the back-and-forth time traveling in order to change something trivial, like, making her boyfriend stay (Lesson to be learned: if he doesn't want you, time traveling will not change the fact no matter if you change yourself for him in an alternate timeline).
The ending was also a bit upsetting because again, I am over with the time traveling purpose to fix something that shouldn't be fixed in that way. Just felt frustrated reading this book, ha.

I love the neurodivergent representation, and I really do like Cassandra as a character. I just feel like the pacing is too slow? Good story idea, great character, just need a faster paced read right now. I’ll probably come back and finish this one later on.
*update* changing my review to a 5 star because I can’t stop thinking about this book.
This felt lovely.
Only reason it wasn’t a 5-star is because I considered DNF’ing a couple times between page 100 and 150, but I’m SO glad I did not!!!
And to the reviews that say to the ending “what was the point??” I think was exactly the point….Idk how else to explain that without spoiling it.

Cassandra can time travel, she discovers it one day soon after her boyfriend of 4 months dumps her right after she gets fired from her job. She goes back in time and gets dumped a few more times and then learns how to not get dumped by her ex. Also she somehow gets fired a few more times before realizing how to keep her job.

I really enjoyed this book. It was interesting and very different. Being neurodivergent myself, I felt seen. Cassandra is an interesting character to say the least. I had not clue where the book was going until it got there. Although I had my guesses.
