75% of this book was about people getting upset with Cassandra and/or Cassandra getting upset with the people around her. I almost DNF, but plowed through and was shocked when both she and her sister weren’t even slightly aware that she was autistic?! I may be totally naive, but it seemed so unbelievable to me. I wish there would have been half as much anger and frustration and more of her realizing who she is and learning to deal with it - be honest with herself and others. Such a frustrating book.

Loved it until it was a big surprise that she has autism. I get that there are a lot of people that get diagnosed later in life but taking into account the story arc of her being bullied for being on the spectrum there’s no way it was a shock to both of them.

This book describes the inner world of a 31 year old neurodivergent woman who believes that her way of interacting with the world is completely wrong. She describes her inner struggles and how she is incapable of changing her reactions to certain things. The time travel is revolves around her interactions with her friends and colleagues as she tries out different interactions and views how they result. The sibling relationship is interesting but not very well fleshed out.

It’s cute. Loved all the Greek mythology references. The narrator’s lack of autism diagnosis until her 30s despite her very obvious autistic behaviors is puzzling, especially since the book is set in the right now.

Solid 4.5 stars. Delightful story and highly helpful read to help me understand neurodivergency

The repetition wore on me and I couldn’t wait to finish it so I could read something else.
