It got me giggling and kicking my feet. I loved the world because it's just so weird. Justice for blonde MMCs.

Aww This was so cute! It gave me “youve got mail” vibes. It took me a minute to get into, but I loved the POV where you could hear how much the 2 main characters
Spoilerhated and kinda liked each other. lol and you got a good insight into both of their lives, feelings, problems. The letters were also really cute and the critters that delivered them with their little banter
hehe… This was a pretty easy read and a great standalone to try out with struggling families, business, love and an interesting world.

u can definitely tell this is written by a millennial. but it’s sweet and cute and made me cry.

This book took me by surprise. I cried, I laughed and fell in
love with the main characters Mercy and Hart.

It’s dark, macabre while sweet and cheesy.

I would definitely read another book by this author.

This book is Shop Around the Corner/You've Got Mail, but set in a frontier-ish world that has zombie adjacent creatures. The majority of the book is centered around the romantic plot line, but there's also two mystery subplots. I did guess one of them ahead of the main characters, but not so far ahead that I started to question the IQ of said characters. The world building was relatively light, but I don't think the book suffered for it. If you need Tolkein levels of worldbuilding, this book isn't it, but it also certainly wasn't trying to be.

Delightful and adorable amidst a (mildly) macabre setting. This is such a character driven novel and Hart and Mercy are perfectly imperfect. They have so much depth and as two lonely souls mirroring each other, they find a beautiful love. My only complaints are that the world building was a bit confusing at times and Mercy should have taken some responsibility for her actions towards Hart (instead of everything being pinned on him).
