I love the way the characters interact with each other, and how they all have individual personalities.

I have always been into greek mythology and to see it portrayed this way brings me so much joy 🫶

I also absolutely love Persephone and Hades, their relationship is just so precious! their dynamic is amazing

10/10 would recommend!

This installment of Lore Olympus has every major plot point finally colliding and crescendoing into a masterfully told climactic trial sequence. Every single character is uniquely written, stylistically unique, and the medium of a graphic novel serves to add nuance and beautiful visual interest and subtext to this story. This modern reimagining of an age-old myth has something for everyone, courtroom drama, romantic tension, and gorgeous art.

This book had me kicking my feet, gasping out loud, and screaming, all of which are the highest compliment I can give.

There’s a lot that happens in this volume. There’s still a lot of running around trying to determine what’s up with Persephone, Zeus still thinks he’s dispensing justice, and Apollo is still avoiding being found out for what he did.

Persephone’s trial is easily the most entertaining and chaotic part of this series so far. Hermes just steals every scene he’s in.

I thought Volume 6 had a major cliffhanger, but I was wrong. This volume definitely has that honor. I need answers. I need to process.

In this volume we witness the full force of Persephone's power and how her emotions are really channeled through them. In the past, they have only been talked about through other characters historically. We witness Persephone being totally vulnerable with her centaur Counsellor and talks about her encounter with Apollo.

Things go from bad to worse for Persephone which renders Hades powerless from idle gossip and the fury of his brother Zeus as the drama unfolds against her. Demeter, Persephone's mother is also dragged into the equation to make matters worse.
