Een prachtig boek over een jongetje dat moeite heeft met praten (stotteren/woorden vinden) en zijn lieve vader en een rivier. Ik vond het prachtig geschreven en ik vond de vader gewoon geweldig. Ik vond het lief hoe hij zijn zoontje uitlegde hoe hij praatte, als een rivier. Golvend, op en neer, kolkend, wervelend.
De illustraties vond ik vaak mooi, soms toch ook iets minder.
