Fantastic ending to the series. I really do not want to say very much since I do not want to spoil anything.

Though to be honest the author definitely left room for more stories (and I really hope she does write them)!!

I can’t believe I’ve finished this series so quickly! The Raven King was an excellent ending to the Raven Cycle quartet. I cannot tell you how much I loved this book, it was wonderful, magical, and full of horror, mystery, friendship, and adventure. The style of writing throughout this book is gorgeous. We finally got to see the slow-burning romantic relationships fully develop, and it was worth the wait. The heart of this series is the friendship between the boys and Blue, and I’m so happy that it’s stayed that way.

I can’t say that i didn’t love this book because I’ll be lying but I’m not entirely satisfied.

This book was full with beautiful moments between all the characters and that’s good, this entire series is as good because of the characters.

SpoilerThings I loved:

-PYNCH!!!

-BLUESEY!!!

-RONAN + BLUE!!!

“No homework. I got suspended,” Blue replied.
“Get the fuck out,” Ronan said, but with admiration. “Sargent, you asshole.” Blue reluctantly allowed him to bump fists with her. […] “I’m not proud of it.” Ronan patted her leg. “I’ll be proud for you.”

- Blue + Gansey + Henry: henry is blue’s boyfriend and gansey is henry’s boyfriend but also blue’s boyfriend.

- Noah saving Gansey’s life

- 6:21 pm

- The epilogue

But here the thing, I didn’t like/get a lot of the things that happened:

-Henry Cheng: he’s a cute character kind of the comic relief at some points but I feel like we were forced to like him and accepted him as part of the gangsey just because of plot convenience, I didn’t get why he was so determined to be friends with Gansey and that he only reason was give his Aglionby sweater to Gansey (to be fair with Henry I liked how human he was, he was human in a way the rest of the character weren’t and I absolutely love him).

-Glendower: HE WAS FUCKING DEAD!!! I feel betrayed, there was no explanation whatsoever about his dead (yes, they think that Artemus knew all this time but that’s not an explanation), Gansey’s whole life (seven years) was looking for a fucking joke, I’m so pissed because they risked their lives for NOTHING!!!

-Noah: THEY FUCKING IGNORED HIM THOUGHT OUT THE ENTIRE FUCKING BOOK!!! He’s still my precious cinnamon roll.

-Plot holes: What was the demon? What happened to the demon? Is Matthew okay? Can Gansey kiss Blue now or will he die again? Why did we need a magical mafia with triplets and koreans on it? What was the purpose of the Orphan Girl?

-Trees: so many freaking trees, so we find out that Blue’s a tree, but, what does that mean? It wasn’t even important for the plot, it just means that human+tree=mirror (which btw it doesn’t make sense to me)

-Cabeswater: Cabeswater said that it’s not a forest, just something that looks like a forest, so, what it is? Why did it keep Gansey alive in exchange of Noah’s life?

I’m in denial.

I need the fifth book because this can’t be over.

Such an impressive series. Maggie's a phenomenal writer, which is obvious in her prose as well as in the intricacies in which she laid out this entire plot.
