The first half I devoured. Then it got real tedious. There is a lot of unnecessary embellishments to the story. We get it, my god. It got emotional and sappy in a very disingenuous way that I found impossible to connect to or take seriously. The core of the story was good, so was the atmosphere. 3 stars because it’s an enjoyable read.
