There is significantly more spice in this book but still less than you would expect from the third book in a RH

I am devouring these books. Like serious I can't stop. I love the way J. Bree adds characters and lore in a way that never overwhelms you with info. She really paces it so it all feels natural and seamlessly given to you.

Ummm k. Cliff hanger much? Good thing all 6 books are on KU so I don’t have to wait, cause that ending has my head spinning. Are their human shifters? Like people who can look like others in J Bree’s world, cause if not i need answers asap.

phew. definitely so much better than the second book. it’s not the best, but there’s improvement. the plot is actually progressing for starters. relationships were mended and oli is getting stronger.

my only issue (by issue, i mean it’s me, not them kind of issue) is that this author takes understandably long time to release books in the series—the gap of release between books are long. my brain simply isn’t good enough to recall things quickly. it always takes me a minute to remember all the characters. and sometimes i switch up between the bonds too. pain.

so just in case i forget again in time for the next book, let me make a list:

bond groups
  • north, nox—oli (central)—gryphon, atlas, gabe

  • felix, kieran—sage (central)—riley, unnamed draven graduate

  • sawyer—grey

nightmares
  • brutus — nox’s
  • august — north’s (has a dobberman form)
