This book is just so heartwrenching not just with Cora's struggles, but with seeing Regan's name again, and with Sumi's undying belief in her future and her friends, and with the unnamed girl finally finally learning her name. I just hope everyone gets their happy endings.

This was a decent story, but not what I wanted out of my next Wayward Children book. Good worldbuilding and good characters, but I'm also here for the portal fantasy and there was no portal this time.
