A relatively rare chapbook that I ended up getting from amazon used a few months ago. If I hadn't read the other novels in her company series so long ago, I might recognize the immortal character, but I didn't quite. It was more a story of one of the members of his family that he's still looking after, Los Angeles and taking down a bad guy. (It the story does appear in a later collection of her stories) (October 10, 2005)
