Worth the cost for the sweetest Lumberjanes story yet. (Plus Help Us! Great Warrior, Cyanide & Happiness, Giant Days...)

The stories pertaining to Help us! Great Warrior and Power Up just made me want to read the comics even more! They are so cute and random. And I was glad to see Misunderstood Haunted House again, I love it!
I also appreciated the Narwhal Janitor's message and Postmarked: Urgent was so random, I had to laugh at that final frame.

This collection was super fun and served as a great sampling of all of the different artists/authors included. Each story, even if it was from a specific series was easy to jump into and a great introduction to each author. While I didn't love all of the stories, I really enjoyed all the different art styles and differing genres. There were more than a few that I immediately wanted more of, or wished they had continued, which is the best feeling to have when reading a collections such as this.

There were definitely some stand outs that make the collection worth reading overall and if you want a taste test of some of the featured series, this is a great way to find out if you enjoy the characters and art style.

Love. The collection highlights so many of my favorite things about the writers and artists that Boom chooses to support.

Not as great as 2014, but still pretty great. The gems (molly and april at the deer and wolf jukejoints?! The return of the misunderstood haunted house?! ) were just as great, but there was more just ok middle stuff. Same amount (munchkin) of terrible.

this collection was really a hit or miss for me, which is too bad because i love boom! box so much. most of the short stories i liked (or loved), but some i just didn't find appealing at all. on the bright side, that really means there's something for everyone, though!
