Loved this so much! Such great wisdom from the incredible Reba McEntire. It was fun learning a bit more about her. Loved seeing her faith come out in this book. I didn’t realize until i bought the actual book that it’s a cool book so that was an extra fun surprise. In true Reba fashion, you will laugh all throughout this!

The audio version has some awesome interviews that were a real treat!

Maybe I’d give a “3” if it wasn’t an audiobook. I don’t see the recipes and the interviews were not well edited for content. There were several repeated stories - verbatim- just snipped for different parts of the book. Bad attention to detail there. Also if the editing wasn’t going to be better they should have left the prompt questions in so we knew what they were responding to.

Pretty much exactly what you’d expect from Reba. Sweet, heartfelt stories about her life, friends and family. It also has some good looking recipes in it.

If you've read either of Reba's previous books, Reba: My Story and Comfort from a Country Quilt, this book is basically recycled snips from those books emphasized with photographs and recipes. It's very much abridged in its feel, each story lasts less than a few pages with many photographs sprinkled in between. It feels very much like Reba chatting at the reader, with lots of preaching and tangents.

I don't know exactly what the intent in publishing this book is, besides it being a light fluffy read and her possible desire to publish a cookbook but didn't have enough recipes for one? In any case I enjoyed the photographs. I also listened to the interviews on the audiobook version, which include a chat with her siblings, and various celebrities sharing their memories of Reba, including Vince Gill and Carrie Underwood, etc.
