I have to give it 5 stars as a standing ovation, even if Falls is not a 5 star book in itself.

Holden, even though his whole personality is coffee, commands the last 100 pages with his “holy foolishness” that ties back in with Leviathan Wakes in such a perfect way, it hurts. I had to bite back tears through the last few POVs- the last flight of the Rocinante.

And again, I want to acknowledge its pitfalls, but at the end of the day, the series left me being happy to be human, being hopeful for our future, and grateful for my family. I think that’s what good sci fi needs to do, and the Expanse has done that. I’ll miss having it on my bed side table.

Love the series ending. Bon voyage, y'all. Sorry that Naomi
never learned that Filip did not ship with his dad and was still alive.

What an end! The final three books in this series are incredible, the culmination of everything that has happened throughout all the previous books coming together in interesting and bizarre ways. I feel so satisfied by the end of this series, in a way I didn't expect. The entire book was impossible to put down. Love it! I may need to reread this series someday now that I know the ending...

Way to finish a series. What more can I say? Loved it all. Time to re-watch the show.

Wow, what a fantastic ending for a fantastic series. The Expanse has become my golden standard for Sci-Fi, and for good reason. I was initially nervous going into this book because I dont like when good things end. I was pleasantly surprised with a satisfying conclusion to this awesome story with some neat self contained character stories inside of it.

As always, the characters and world were fantastic, and I enjoyed that a lot of the esoteric mystery stayed mysterious without feeling like we missed out as the audience.
This book is a definite 4.8 from a 5.0 series!

Could there have been a more fitting way to end the Expanse than
James Holden doing something incomprehensibly stupid in order save the human? race

This is series has been such a blast, and Leviathan Falls sticks the landing really well - loose ends are well tied, the story's conclusion is satisfying, and each of the crew members of the Rocinante end the series exactly where they should be.

It’s a bit of a slog and doesn’t have any big sections that have you ripping through in order to find out what happens next like a lot of the past books. It’s not bad and it wraps things up alright but it’s in the bottom 4 books of the series for me.
