Pushing The Limits fue un libro que amé demasiado, la forma en que Echo y Noah maduraron a lo largo del libro me encantó y la forma en que ambos resolvieron sus problemas y conflictos.

That was an amazing contemporary. I can't wait to read more Katy McGarry!

Ugh. Don't know how to feel about this one. Some parts I liked and some I didn't.
I was hooked from the first chapters, wanting to know more about Echo and Noah. But then it went up and down from wanting to know what else would happen to wanting the story to hurry up and finish.
I guess I liked Noah and Echo as characters, they grew on me. And at parts I was really rooting for them to get together and work things out.
But things were so rushed between them. They went from hate to love so quickly
They did have great best friends. Lila and Isaiah were loveable to me, they stuck by Noah and Echo when they really needed them. But Beth...oh Beth. She wasn't my cup of tea. And the next book is about her so maybe I might change my mind about her if I decide to read it.
But every page that involved Noah's brothers were my favourite. He really cared for those two and his not being with them did make my heart ache but I just wanted to shake Noah and get him to realise why he was apart from them.
And I think the Echo family drama was done well, that was interesting to read.
So I have to give it 3 stars because I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it either.
And there's only so many times you can call someone "baby" before it gets on your nerves.

3.5/5 stars. The amount of hype around this book was kind of crazy. I thought that there was no way that it wouldn't live up to it because I'm a contemporary/realistic fiction junky but it wasn't my favorite. I had a few problems with the romance and I just couldn't get over it.

Oh god. This was absolutely, undeniably bloody brilliant. Everything about Pushing the Limits was a delight, I mean both protagonists' stories were equally hauntingly beautiful and I particularly appreciated that the characters dealt with real problems rather than the "issues" that some authors consider to be worth reading about. I found it difficult to relate to Echo's father for the majority of the story but I thought it was incredibly realistic his reasons for his actions. However, I still can't understand why he frequently put Ashley before Echo. Grace. Grace was a little bitch who needed to be taught a lesson in loyalty. However, I could understand why Echo wanted to continue being her friend, I know all too well. The social politics in the novel was portrayed very realistically too, it wasn't overwhelming or too dramatic but a lot more subtle, vindictive and random. Lila was an amazing character. She is someone that I would love to have in my life, her fierce loyalty was something to be admired. All in all, well done McGarry, an amazing novel.
