I really enjoyed this hilarious story of Hardy & Everly. Meghan Quinn does quirky rom coms so well. These characters were funny, had lots of quirks, and so many awkward moments. Everly is in charge of Bridesmaid For Hire which is part of Hardy’s sister Maggie’s company. Hardy wants to use Everly to help him get back together with his ex girlfriend. Unfortunately for Everly, she has a little bit of a crush on Hardy but she is up for the task.

Between working on the wedding and trying to set up Hardy with ex, Everly ends up spending lots of time together with Hardy and their friendship grows stronger. They become more comfortable with each then they are with anyone else. You are going to love all the crazy antics and hilarious situations these two find themselves in with each other and with other people. Their emails back and forth were a really nice touch but even better than that was the emails from my favorite MQ hero JP CANE!!! It took Hardy a little bit of time to recognize his feelings but when he did, he loved her hard, even if other things got in the way at first.

The audio for this was phenomenal as always. I love the duet narration and Jason and Samantha were perfect together. They really nailed all the quirkiness of the characters. I did feel like the volume of the two different characters was not the same but I just kept adjusting my volume and it was okay.

If there's one thing I love about Meghan Quinn books is the banter, the character banter in EVERY one of Meghan's books is absolutely AMAZING!

Honestly though, this book fell a bit short for me. I still enjoyed it but it wasn't as fast paced and enthralling as my previous MQ reads and I wasn't a big fan of Hardy and his behavior.

Thank you Hambright PR for a chance to read this ARC!
