I enjoyed this read it was very quick! I didn’t enjoy some of the add ins that seemed like there was an agenda trying to be pushed but I believe that it is helpful for young people! I really liked reading this book!

A graphic novel that follows 4 young teenaged girls as they deal with their periods. The book has a feminist message that periods should not be considered taboo since a good portion of society menstruates. This was a cute, approachable story that has a good positive female-positivity message.

This book is fantastic. Such a relatable and realistic representation of experiencing your period in high school. I’m glad there are more stories being put out there that show periods are just normal things we experience and it’s not something bad or embarrassing

The first graphic novel about periods that I found before Callin’s soon to be released New Girl. This was a super speedy read, maybe because there wasn’t much to take in with each panel. Each character had a story line but they were surface level. It’s good to read and talk about periods.

I love a good story about young people rebelling for a good cause. These teenage girls see something going on that's wrong and decide to make a change. Righteous.

Also, we need more books like this, that talk about menstruation in a way that will certainly help spark conversations and hopefully help normalize something that IS totally normal.

Excellent book about high school feminism and the sometimes misery that comes with bleeding each month. This should be on every YA shelf at the library.

A wonderful, beautiful, important, relevant graphic novel which is centered around menstruation, an often taboo subject. It is both approachable and grounded, and the author and illustrator have created a story that covers not only what it’s like to be a teenage girl but also manages to be utterly inclusive and diverse in equal and perfect measure.

This book has the potential to become one of “those” books - one of the ones that *every* girl reads as a right of passage and boys read in order to understand girls.
