I was okay, predictable, but heartwarming. One thing bothered me most was that the main character paints himself to be this horrible person, when he isn't really, just lost his way a bit. He actually gets hurt more then he hurt anyone else.
I'm a sucker for Christmas romance. I devoured this prodigal son story in only three days! The main character, Luke, was likable despite his lapse in judgement. This a perfect second chance story,
lighthearted
Tried and true Evans style. for me, with Richard Paul Evans's books there's great comfort in knowing that before you even begin reading that the story is going to progress to happily ever after.
Nice, easy read that tells a modern day version of the story of the Prodigal Son. I enjoyed the book.
As in the note at the beginning of the book, I did not like the main character for much of the book. However, he came around by the end ......
Loved it! Quick easy read. Will probably try to read something else by the author... Not specifically a holiday book as I thought.
Lost December is a great book that lets readers really understand humanity. About the loss, growth, experience, and forgiveness.
I really enjoyed this book so much. It's a story about a man who has everything, loses it all making really poor decisions, and has to start over completely from rock bottom. But along the way he realizes what and who is really important in life. It really makes you stop and think and feel grateful for what you have. I was so touched by the story and loved the characters in this book. Great holiday read, glad I picked it up!
