i read this to my brother tonight as he went to sleep. he’s too old for it,  it we both love the art so much and it’s such a cute lil’ read. i love the die-cut pages showing the caterpillar’s trail, it’s adorable 🥺🥺🥺

2023 May Reading Challenge
Prompt: read a comfort book

My favorite kids book of all time. Nothing is more comforting than watching a cute lil caterpillar eat a how bunch of food and become a beautiful butterfly. The caterpillar's appetite and choice of foods also speaks to me on a personal level.

Not much else to say, I love this book. Its adorable, sweet, and beautiful.

Very good book to be used in many way across the classroom curriculum - counting, colors, science (animal changes), chronological order, fruits/vegetables. LOVE IT!

The textured paint illustrations makes me so nostalgic. I've never noticed the smiley faces on the moon and sun until now!
