so cute, but so frustrating, but cute, but- let the miscommunication trope die please please please I would’ve preferred Gideon and Claudia starting to date earlier than wait to resolve this on the last pages I would’ve enjoyed it so much more

5 stars...would give it more if I could

I adored this book to no end. It has such great beautiful moments between Noah and Gideon, Zoe and Claudia, Claudia and Iris, Gideon and Claudia...the list goes on. Claudia has a great stable family which we don't see much in YA. And it had my laughing as well.

I just can't say enough how much I enjoyed this book. It was utterly adorable and I loved every moment from the first to the last page.

What a cute read. I generally do not like contemporary as much and prefer fantasy. This book, however, was a quick and enjoyable read. I found ( outside of being rich and the private school) the characters and situations relatable for being teenagers. A bit of drama, crushes, heart break, new relationships, school activities, and family life so mixed into one book. I'm glad I started 2018 off with this book!

Read in 2019 but was unfortunately a DNF, so this isn't counting towards my goal but is on my 2019 shelf.

This book, unfortunately, just wasn't for me. I find that Emma Mills and I have a strange relationship - I like her books, but don't exactly adore them. There's always an element about them that stops me from adoring it. Sadly this one just didn't pull me in right from the start; though that isn't at fault of the writing or anything similar. The plot just didn't entice me. Her writing is beautiful, lyrical and charming but it unfortunately isn't the type of writing style I enjoy - but I would wholeheartedly recommend this book because, no doubt, there is going to be someone out there that loves this style of writing!

Ive been in a reading slump, but even though this took me forever to finish, I really enjoyed it.

what a sweet sweet book! not as stressful as other contemporary YAs I’ve read ! love that!

lovely lovely characters, especially Gideon. He feels like a guy I’ve known except better but SO VIVID.

Emma Mills really balanced the large cast of characters well, I’m proud of her ! Although we didn’t get as much Zoe and Alex and family dynamic as I hoped for, it was still great and focused a lot on Iris and Gideon and their relationships with Claudia.

I love when I love a contemporary ! yayyyy

This was so cute and precious! I can't even be mad at it for making me procrastinate in the middle of the exam period.

SHUT UP. This was so freaking good, I can’t believe it!

Emma Mills is so good at writing friendships and relationships and I want to read everything she ever writes. This was so good— all the characters were nuanced and lovely and I want to read a million books just like this one.
