Not bad. It certainly was more interesting than some of the previous ones. I appreciate the expanded backstory, too.

4.5 Moon Stars

I don’t know why but I always get Moon and Smiley mixed up I keep thinking Moon is primate species but nope he is K9 species.
Once I shook my brain into submission (just kidding) it was all good.

I very much enjoyed that they brought in a new character from when they were first freed. We get to see a different side of Homeland and Species this way. It wasn't like poof your free here is your own space doesn’t hurt us. It took months and a lot of care to get them to where they are not.

I like that’s what I liked best about this book. It was also great to see Moon get his HEA. I enjoyed Dr. Joyce I hope they keep her at Homeland and get rid of the other head doctor he was a real TOOL. Yep I needed to state how much I hated that character.

Again, I’m loving the narrator she is amazing. Not only does she do multiple female voices but the way she makes each New Species voice sound so unique it blows me away.

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

I loved Moon! Laurann Dohner makes New Species seem so real! It has a HEA and lots of sex. So if you don't like reading about it this is not the book for you!

Unethical..... As a medical professional I have a hard time getting beyond that to enjoy any other part of the book......

I enjoyed this story a lot but the editing was way worse than previous books.

First of all, thank the lord there wasn't any kidnapping. I didn't think Laurann could write one of these without it. The story was different enough to give it 4 stars.
There are four books left and I am not sure I am going to learn anything new, but on to the next one.
