One of my all time favorites. The presence of chaos in the universe (Coyote) and retelling the story until we get it right.

I only reread books I really, really like, and this is one of them. King treats us to a story that weaves contemporary Canadian Native American culture with a coyote trickster myth and more than a dash of metafiction. The reviews of books compare his brand of wit to Mark Twain; unfortunately I haven't read enough Twain to evaluate the validity of this comparision. Either way, the book is both smart and funny.

Crazy, but quite good.

One of the most eye opening books I’ve ever read that twists reality and spirituality into a work of art. Really introduces you to the Native American narrative if you want to start reading them.

Yeah man. Good discovery.
Hilarious and multi-cross referenced.
Satire. Cars that disappear and a lot of water.
It's not excellent to be Indian to portray a good Indian. Broken clichés.
I LOVED IT.
