What an odd little book. I loved it. While it had a satisfying ending, it also left me wanting more in the best way, and in a way that I think if I had been given more, I wouldn't have actually enjoyed it as much. I'm discovering I love novellas for the world it builds in my head and everything that is left up to my imagination. It's a tricky balance because you can't give the reader too little, and I think this novella did it really well.

Found this difficult to read/enjoy
However, if they ever convince Ricky Gervais to narrate this I’d give it a second shot.

A neat, short tale pf good vs evil were the lines between them are blurred. With a sardonic tone, the protagonist tells us we won't like him and indeed he does despicable things, but he is fun to read. The setting is unique and interesting. I wish we'd learned more about the demonology of it all. There was maybe a bit too much info about technical things that weren't entirely necessary and not enough mythology but overall it was a nice short read.

This was a bit boring and at times the narration was hard to understand, even if the concept is interesting. Banger of an ending, tho (quite literally).

This novella was actually a lot of fun. It was a refreshing take on the idea of demonic possession -- and I do believe the description of "deadpool and Geralt of Rivia" is pretty fitting. I read the last few pages with my mouth hanging open and I'm really glad I picked this up!

Darkly amusing. I enjoyed this more casual take on possession.

Good use of the novella form — any longer and the funny would wear off.
