Marie LOVED this book, it had heros, dragons and even true love. She made me read it and it was a wonderful story. If you liked Ella Enchanted, this book won't disappoint.

This was Marie's favorite book this year. It has dragons, princesses, heros and true love, who could beat that! She forced me to read it and it was a quick, really fun read.

I was in the mood for an easy, nostalgic read so I re-read my favorite book growing up. I still enjoyed it! I love that the end isn’t what you’re expecting. Like every good princess story it involves widespread plague, war, various mythical creatures, and under-age marriage. I remember asking for a horse and a sword named blood-biter after reading this as a kid.

Another great story from one of my favorite YA authors. Love the fairy tale world she created in this book and such a sweet story of sisterly love.
