I don’t even know what to say. I considered myself a huge KV fangirl before but after THIS?! There’s no going back. This is the best thing she’s written to date. I didn’t even get through the prologue before freaking the hell out and sending voice messages to anyone who might possibly care. (Thanks to my coven and Christina for indulging me.) I swear I highlighted half the book. It’s glorious.
Answers just lead to more questions. I feel like I’ve said it 500 times already but Eli Adonis Addison is just so much MORE in Ominous than he is in Ecstasy. Maybe he’s a better actor, the mask more firmly in place in Ecstasy. Maybe he’s more reckless with showing his darkness in Ominous. Maybe Eden broke him. Maybe he’s more numb in Ecstasy. Maybe, maybe, maybe.
And Eden? She’s the tit to his tat. Soft but not afraid to push back. Submissive but on her terms. Brave and afraid. She’s confused by Eli but willing to see him as he is and not what everyone wants him to be. An enigma all on her own. She wants to live for today because she sees it all as fleeting. Raleigh is temporary, the trailer park is temporary. Eli is temporary.
The unusual order of these books is actually a benefit. It makes Ominous so much more intriguing because you’re trying to figure out the whole time what the hell happens to lead to the events in Ecstasy.
I want more of it. More of them. More of this story. More of KV’s words. More, more, more.

i recommend this to my friend and she said what is it about and i literally said “i don’t even know like just elieden and their insane fucking relationship” and i think that sums up my opinions on this book.

800 pages of nothing, absolutely nothing. this book just reminded me of why dark romance is not my thing anymore. i can see why ppl love this i really think i would've loved it too had i read it a few years ago but

Fantastic work from KV again, her writing never ceases to amaze me. This was one loooong thicc boi and I’m not just talking about Eli. This was intense. I really can’t explain this book, but I can say you need to read it. Can’t wait to read part 2.

I have absolutely no fucking clue what to say right now. I just know I need the rest of this crazy shit. Lol
If you’re looking for a sweet, contemporary romance, than this is NOT the book for you! Ominous is crazily twisted and full of darkness. Not once did KV Rose ease up and show us her softer side, but for me, this was purely wonderful. It is crazy how much of a rollercoaster ride you are taken on.
Eli is the type that easily others can become obsessed with. Eden and Eli have a different type of attraction to each other. It’s like completely chaos when together. Even though they are chaos, they feel right.
This book holds so much emotion and feelings that will come out of you. Ominous keeps you on your toes. I am extremely excited for more of these two. I need to know what happens next.
