I couldn’t put it down… I wasn’t prepared for the end and had to jump right into book 2 Touch.

Am I confused? Yes. Was this a romance? I have no fucking idea.

I wasn't really impressed with this book. I felt no connection between her and Elijah it felt so forced. Also, the world building is lacking. I don't understand much of anything.

It was okay- a cool idea and not terribly written as these books go. but not good enough for me to want to read the next one.

The whole “I don’t know who I am, and nobody will tell me” was so tedious. I’m pretty sure that reveal will happen in the last scene. It was like an over-played miscommunication trope.

WOW, JUST WOW!!!

I'm not sure what in the world I just read or what is going on, but holy smokes!! I could not turn these pages fast enough. This has to be one of the most original storylines I've read. I've not read anything quite like this. This is light against dark, different planes of reality, beings that are not usually in most stories, so it would seem its light verses dark because I have a feeling that everything I think may get turned all around, I don't know but I'm on a mission to find out what all this is about. SO SO GOOD!!!

I am a serial series reader so I was excited that all these books are FREE on Kindle Unlimited. The reviews made it sound like it was much darker and dirtier than what it was. The author spent a lot of time describing background which I guess for someone with a better imagination could be helpful. But I wanted to get with the emotional and physical anguish and lust filled moments as quick as possible.

This was a solid read with a cliff hanger that is forcing me to continue on. I will admit I skipped a lot of interactions with minors character because of the extra descriptions (No I don't give af about the pool lighting)
