I'm bored. It's the longest slice of life with so many sex scenes I'm not sure how any more story will get told.
Falls into the trap of, "once they get together, it's not that interesting." A lot of angst over the continuation of their relationship without feeling meaningful.
They could have one, short conversation and clear this up. We're told they do that with roommate grievances, but now they don't. It feels out of place for the uncertainty to go on this long.

These three are so stinkin' hot! Their care for each other is the dream. With and without the super duper hot sex. On and off the cams. I love them.

This is such an unusual little book. It’s a poly romance between two sex workers and their roommate/BFF where the feelings build slowly over the story, giving readers a chance to see how these 1st and 2nd gen British-Nigerians take care of each other’s feelings, bodies, and appetites (there is so much yummy food).

There’s so much softness and caretaking in this book. I loved the reverent way Black fat bodies are described, and how we see the characters use their relationship to heal trauma from their birth families. In that way, it reminds me a bit of The Companion, by EE Ottoman, another poly romance…but with way more sex. My only criticism is that it felt a little long at the end. But I’d rather a book that lingers over the characters’ happy relationship than stop abruptly.
