James's book on the history of sex is very interesting, with a lot of information I never knew about sexual expression over the centuries. Like a lot of other reviewers on here, I didn't think the whole dinner party motif used here was necessary, and sometimes the humor just isn't my taste. But overall, this book provides interesting facts and gives hope for a future where sex is not this shameful, taboo subject.
