While the writing was certainly full of a good amount of millennial cringe, the information itself and the discussions it lead to were quite interesting and informative. Definitely a more introductory book to those who have not done any anthropological/sociological reading/research on sexuality and sex, but one that you can easily understand and gives you a solid stepping off point to look into specific topics.

I don’t think I’m the target audience for this. The content was fine but the writing felt like one long Tik Tok, which makes sense as the author got her start there. The dinner party framing was grating and her personal stories often didn’t integrate well into her arguments.

At first hard to take the narrator seriously , some chapters more interesting.
