This was fun! Wears a lot of hats as a historical romance-magic mystery. I liked the combination of an Ella Enchanted-coded FL and the Sherlock/John-ness of Elias and Albert lol

I don’t typically give 5 stars, but the characterization, banter, and witty humor really drove it. Not to mention the premise is unique, especially our FMC character. 

Easily a top fav of all time. 

I’d just ignore the epilogue, the final decision didn’t make sense with the characters.
