I'm having a really good time with these books. They do have their flaws, but the things I enjoy about the books outweigh those flaws in my opinion. For a while, there were quite a few parallels between this and the first book, which almost made me lower my rating just a little bit, but the finale was quite different and I really enjoyed it. I guess I would have given the first two books around 4.5 stars, but because of the atmosphere I created in my room while reading them, I personally had an amazing reading experience that turned them into 5-star books for me. I highly recommend turning on some cozy lights and lighting a candle and listening to a dark gothic instrumental playlist on Spotify, as this will pull you right into this world and enhance your experience! I also loved the dark gothic and dark academia-ish atmosphere, the finale of the book, and I love the protagonists.

Un libro muy entretenido. Me ha gustado mucho tanto la ambientación como las descripciones de autopsias y cuerpos mutilados, que es el motivo por el que estoy siguiendo la saga. La trama quizás un poco más floja, pero aun así disfrutable.

So sad!! This one was no where near as good as the first, kind of slow and not gripping at all. So gutted

It was very good. The ending was not to predictable and the characters were just the right amount of complex. It's a good comfort book and a good sequel to the first book.
