DNF. The FL suffers a lot in this book. The suffering is relentless and therefore I quit half way, feeling exhausted and anxious. I was disappointed that the author didn't share the meet cute of the FL and ML. (I personally love the first meeting and consider it practically mandatory in a romance novel.) The spice had some good chemistry, and a well paced slow burn, but since I didn't finish the book I'm unable to comment on more than kissing and foreplay. The ML made too many careless mistakes in regards to the FL's safety, without any remorseful grovelling; utterly irredeemable. The FL was too one dimensional and naive. I appreciate that her circumstances would cause her to be stunted, but not even a hobby or skill to make her more interesting? Would not recommend.
