My first book completed in 2023 and this one did not disappoint! It's filled with the central themes of friendship, sisterhood, and forgiveness that make for an impressive story--it's easy to see why this one only took me two days to finish!

Cute story about unconventional families, set during Prohibition, when unconventional families weren’t as widely accepted. The love and friendship between the female characters is inspiring. The plot is super predictable and at times corny, especially the ending. The characters are also a bit unrealistic for the time period.
