ARC provided from the publisher Unthank Books in exchange for an honest review.
Publication Date: 25th July 2019

A collection that provides an in-depth, thought-provoking look into the minds of characters with questionable morals that make even more questionable choices. It can make you laugh one moment and cry the next. With the breadth of the tonal range, there is something here for everyone.
Perfect for Lovers of short fiction and complex characters that will stay with you even as you close the page.

3 Mini Reviews of my favourite stories:
Half by [a:Nick Holdstock|1254987|Nick Holdstock|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1429107602p2/1254987.jpg].
An intimate glimpse into desire and the effect that abuse has on a family years after it has ended. The drug addiction and incest plotlines create a gripping story for readers to consume in one sitting. An excellent start to an outstanding collection.

Bloodstock by Paul Davenport-Randall
This was my favourite in the collection. Bloodstock forces readers to acknowledge the darker parts of their consciousness and question even their smallest decisions. The allegory of the pig is outstanding and in combination with the complexity of the pacing and the tonal shifts, this is a story you can't put down.

Peasant Woman Number Four by [a:Angela Readman|876216|Angela Readman|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1494294452p2/876216.jpg]
A story about love, time and betrayal set over different decades but not in a way you would expect. in a through provoking and heartfelt piece that explores the lengths a woman is willing to go to reach fulfilment after a tragedy.
