A new beginning to an old flame
So I started this series because I read the synopsis to this book. I'm a football girl at heart and love second chance love stories. I hated Lori throughout the last book and was so happy that maybe Danny would finally receive the love he deserves. Jennifer is a reincarnated JJ for him. She is this woman who captured his heart, but went through a lot to get back to him. It's a steep cliff because he's still going through his divorce, and has she really let go of her collapsed relationship. I hope they figure it out. The PG-ness still isn't my favorite.

Quick and easy read, definitely liked this one, great story.
Danny Diamond... how come the good ones always go for the horrible women? I can’t take Lori. She’s horrible but I do love the nickname they give Richard.
Anyways, this book was so good. I’m not sure why it’s taken me so long to read it. I buzzed right on through it. It was everything you’d expect from a Jillian Dodd. Danny was getting on my nerves a little bit with the push & pull but after everything he’s been through, I understand. I love how she always manages to pull characters from her other books into the new ones so you always get to know how they’re doing.

I’ve been a fan Of Jillian Dodd for so long, her That Boy series was the first book that I ever bought on Kindle wayyyy wayyyy back! And while I love her other books, Danny JJ and Phillip will always have a place in my heart!

Jennifer is such a great addition to this series and I can’t wait to see more levels of their relationship in the next book

Ok, I love Jillian Dodd, I love her characters and her stories. I haven't read anything by her in a while though. So I decided to give these a try.
I already liked Jennifer from the Keatyn Chronicles so I expected to like this book. It was such a cute story. It was also a little sad. There are characters we already know from different series (Jennifer and Troy from the Keatyn Chronicles and Phillip and Jadyn from the That Boy Series). I like that we got to see how people turned out after the original series ended.
The story was sweet and a little sad. I really rooted for the characters. I am also super into the relationships between the kids, I feel like that could easily be another series! I started reading the next book (That Ring) as soon as I finished this one because I just had to see how Danny and Jennifer's story would end.
