Mrs. Peabody told me I loved it before I even began! My need for my own Mrs. Peabody aside, All Grown Up is a wonderful story. Its filled with hope, insecurities, issues, and love. So much love!

A sexy young man to jumpstart her life but in reality he is exactly what she needed to begin living for the first time!

If my happily ever after turns into the sour note that Valentina got, I hope I have a Ford in my future!

An age-gap romance between an older woman who's just recently divorced and a younger man who's also happens to be the woman's son's playmate when they were younger. This book didn't really do anything wrong as far as I remember, but it also didn't bring what I thought I would get.

I was expecting some taboo, especially since the female lead is staying at a beach house while being neighbors with the male lead's younger sister whom she knew ever since the sister was a child. It also turns out that the male lead was also staying there for a vacation which made both our leads' interaction possible. But they have to keep it a secret because the younger sister doesn't know that the male lead is secretly pursuing our main character despite their pasts.

All of this was set up to be a very forbidden and angsty romance, but it all just ended up being pretty dull. The main character doesn't act her age at all and the male lead just treated her like how any guy treats a girl his age that he liked, so the juicy forbiddeness wasn't even there. And the way people reacted to their relationship was very tame and anticlimactic. The conflict towards the end was also stupid, considering what all they've been through and that's what them break up?

It's still an overall solid romance, but you could've removed the age-gap aspect, and the story would remain the same.

Ruined it with the epilogue. When will authors learn not every female character’s happily ever after needs to involve pregnancy and kids? Especially when motherhood makes no sense for the character and it completely changes the tone of the book. Seriously - write better endings than this.

Peabody

I’ll admit that while I was super excited for another Vi Keeland book, older woman/younger man stories aren’t really my thing. I much prefer the opposite when it comes to age gap stories. But I still was excited to read All Grown Up since I love Vi’s stories, and this one was great! Vi never disappoints, and I think readers are going to love this one!

Ford and Valentina captured my attention instantly, and I couldn’t get enough of them. I loved the chemistry and connection between them. They were real and genuine and very easy to relate to. I felt like I was right there with them on their journey and I loved how they handled every up and down that they experienced along the way. This couple is one of my favorites from Vi, and I really felt like Val and Ford were perfect together.

Overall, another great story from Vi. She always captivates me with her unique and original characters, and I love knowing that she always has a fresh new story full of the unexpected whenever I begin a new book by her. Each story feels like an entirely new experience with characters I know I’ll love forever, and that was definitely the case with Val and Ford. If you are a fan of age gap romances, this is one you must read. If you are on the fence or unsure, I highly recommend you take the chance here on All Grown Up. You won’t regret it!

Fairly cute and decent read. Not a terrible age gap rep.
