Absolutely amazing!! The happiness of the wedding in the book was contagious, and I was constantly smiling throughout the book. I also really empathized with the main character, and I absolutely adored the romance!!

DNF at 25%. I really liked two of this authors other books so I had high hopes going into this one. Unfortunately, it was a bit of a let down. I love how this author gives bits of Indian culture and I was excited that this one was all about a wedding. But the book just didn’t flow. The writing didn’t capture me and it was actually hard to get as far as I did in the book.

The MC is a weird mix of insecure & “fuck societal norms, I’ll do what I want” that don’t seem to match. Ultimately I didn’t want to continue with the insecurities being exhibited; and the “woe is me to deal with these societal norms, I refuse” became tiresome .
