I didn't love this as much as I had hoped I would, since the characters didn't feel that fleshed out as I would have liked. Overall, it was fun to see desi wedding culture and the Indo-Trinidadian rep was great though!

Picked this up for some comfort reading and it certainly did the job. I especially really enjoyed the narrator's voice, which felt fresh and witty.

Someone please get married and invite me im wedding deprived. I LOVED this book sm there were so many things that I could relate to which I don't usually find in books with white characters. Desi weddings for the win we have the best weddings ever and you cannot change my mind.
