It's always the one closest to you that is trying to destroy you

Alexis Drakos, the CEO of a Fortune 500 conglomerate had his hands full. His entire life was exploding around him. He was trying his best to be a family man and CEO. His business was suffering because of a double recession and he was trying his best to save it as a legacy for his children, but he was being a neglectful father and husband spending so much time away from home. Now the wolves were sensing his weakness and were coming to attack, not only his business but his family, especially his wife. He was not going to lose Kari to a beautiful chocolate Nigerian billionaire. Kari was his life, but Kari was tired of being his afterthought.

Kari made him realize that she meant business and he understood her message. He promised they would do everything together. When they finally figured out who was behind "Family Take Down" it hurt Alex to his core. But old Mick the Tick saved him from doing the unthinkable.

I loved the mystery and intrigue behind this story. It's never who you think the perpetrator is. It's always the ones closest to you to break your heart. Some people just don't respect the sanctity of marriage. Bev and Galani had no morals and for that fact neither did Diallo. I just knew he was involved in some kind of way but he just wanted Kari. How Kari and Alex didn't have a nervous breakdown in this story I don't know how. But any ordinary person most definitely would.

Another great story Mallory. I loved it!
