A fifty page ride with a grand theft felon, her gun shot wound, a hot Dr Thomas, and action packed sex that will satisfy the erotica lover's appetite. This second MacKenzie Brothers Quartet is much of the same as the first. Brisk and feverish in Surrender.

This second book in series is awesome. I love how Cat trying to be mystery and not found out when this very sexy doctor wants make a life with her. Thomas is a great character sweet protective and damn sexy just like the rest of his brothers.

Yeah I know that it is a short story and it suppose to be a short, erotic story. But in this one I could not stop thinking on how fast it was going. One minute she was one place and he another, next they where together and before you know it, they have sex and says I love you. Come oooon! It just got a little to much unrealistic for me to really enjoy the book. But if I try to not think about that and just the story itself it was great. Cat is a knock out girl with a lot of courage and skin on her nose. Thomas is a little meek and careful bot overall the book is okey.

This probably won't take more than an hour to read, if that.
I liked Dane, I liked Cade, I'm trying to get into the series.......however Thomas is a Doctor, Cat is a thief. She crashes on his property and it's instant love, I mean instant love. After day one he says to her: I know we don't know a lot about each other, but I very much believe in fate. And even though our minds don't know each other, I think our bodies recognize each other very well.
I mean seriously??
They fall in love and he wants to dictate to her what she can and can't do? I don't know. I'm reading it as I've read some of the others which I've enjoyed but it was so short with hardly a story.
That said I will be reading the rest in the series as I enjoyed some of the other books

This story was so short it never even got going. Cat is a thief. Shot by the security team on a job she crashes her car in Surrender and Thomas treats her injuries.

This was ok - better than Dane's as we find out a little bit more about each of the brothers - but like most other reviewers it was too short. There just seems to be a real lack of depth to each character. The storyline is just passable as anything. But.. I will continue to read the series because I am just crazy like that - ;)
