This one was not one of his best books. It was a little long for me and the climax was a little drawn out. It was still a good book, just not as riveting as his previous novels. I was glad to see Zoya back in action and the ups and downs of her relationship with Court.

I really like the Gray Man series a lot. Court Gentry is one of my favorite characters, and this book adds another good chapter to the story. Lots of action and spycraft throughout, with some other characters from past books making returns to help out with the action. Looking forward to the next book.

LOVE this series

"It's America, motherf***er!" Hah! Tough to trust anyone in this fast paced thriller (love story?). The Gray Man meets his match... not once, not twice, but three times. Who will prevail? Thanks MG.

This is a typical Gray Man story except for the fact that for better or worse he is starting to show his age. Both in the realistic aspects like him taking slightly more damage and being maybe a little bit slower. But also from the perspective that this is the 8th book in the series and I think Mark Greaney May be running out of new ideas for Court Gentry. Overall this is a good book if you liked the previous books you will like this one as well.

A typical Gray Man novel. I admit they get a bit more unbelievable with each one. Still entertaining, especially now that Court finally has a love interest, sort of. But as is stated in this book, he's been at this for thirty years which puts him at or near 50. I don't care how well trained and conditioned you are, nor how much experience you have, he does things that I don't find physically possible for a man of that age. There's a reason most professional athletic careers are over by mid-30's. Physical decline is inevitable, except in the case of Court Gentry. He gets bumped, bruised and broken and is still able to pull of feats that a man in his physical prime would struggle with. Or find impossible. So, he must be the luckiest man who ever lived. Detracts a bit from the story as those thoughts are always at the back of my mind. Still an entertaining read for the genre overall though.
