I expected this book to be kind of painful, but after the first 30 pages I was hooked.

It was inspiring. It was well written and amazingly researched. It was awesome and I went out and bought my own copy immediately after finishing. I bought the sequel too. Way to go, Toni Sorenson!

It took me a long time to finish this book because I got bored. I enjoyed the beginning of the story but found that by about 1/2 way through the book it turned into a retelling of the bible. If I'm going to read that I'd rather read the real thing... It was alright.

I loved this book! It was such a powerful retelling of Christ's life. I was crying as if I was really sitting at the feet of Christ as he was being hung from the cross or feeling sorrow when people sinned and made Christ sad. As I was reading it I kept telling myself 'I can never sin again!' I'm too weak for that but that's hwo too this book is. I totally recommend reading it!
