This one turned out to be the weakest in the series. I really liked the first half and rhe direction the story took but everything kind of fell apart in the second half. The conclusion felt rushed and very far fetched. The ending is too happy (even though I'm happy the relationship didn't last), my ship did not sail and there were absolutely no consequences for anything.I'm glad I finally finished the series but I was hoping Deanna would go out of my life with a bang (either metaphorical or literal, but neither happened).

I am terribly sad that this book is finally finished, that the series has now ended. I could honestly say that on those days that i was reading Deanna Madden series I had grown to love the characters in it, especially Deanna herself. I truly enjoy her story and twisted world. She's one of the characters that I knew I will always remember. She's the bad ass girl in 6E.
I wish there were more books on this series, but I do understand why a story has to end. The ending on this book is not what I wanted to be honest, but I do agree on the author and not complain about it. I wish to see a happy Deanna at the end and I know that it wouldn't happen if she will stay. She knew that in herself and so she decided to leave.
But there is one thing that i wish I had seen.. It's Mike and Deanna meeting in person. God, I love Mike's character! I think they deserve to see each other and meet up. It's just bad that the story ended and it didn't happened!
Anyway, this trilogy cemented A.R. Torre's spot on my list of authors to watch out for. She impressed me with her story and her writing style. I wanted to read more of her books!

I loved the first two books in this series, so I was hesitant to start reading this one after reading the back. Nevertheless, I'm glad I got through it and that, unsurprisingly, it didn't turn out the way I thought it would. I'm hoping that Jeremy will still be in the next installment, even if his relationship with Deanna won't ever be the same, and, of course, I'd like to see more of Mike. If/when the next book comes out, I'll be looking forward to reading it.

Unfortunately I was a little underwhelmed with this one...

I wasn't all that crazy with how this one ended. I guess I was suppose to feel something about the whole Jeremy situation, but I really didn't. I blame this on the fact that Jeremy was a really underdeveloped character in this series IMO. After three books I was expecting to at least get a better picture of who he was and what he felt, but nope.
In anycase, overall I enjoyed this series and am glad I gave it a go.
