I enjoyed this dive into The Avatar from Kyoshi's story. It was entertaining and I found Kyoshi believable and enduring as a character and as an avatar. Some of the twists and intrigue were surprising and some predictable, but I still enjoyed the characters, the trials and the bits of humor Yee included.

I feel as if the ending was a little rushed compared to the pacing of the rest of the book (which was already fast.) Still really loved it! I particularly loved learning more about Kuruk's era.
