I love, love, LOVE those characters!!!
I could read 100 more books about Kyoshi and Rangi and Hairan and (...). And I wish there'd be more but so far this is the last of Kyoshi's story. I mean she got over 200 years old. There is probably a lot more to tell about her but we only know what happened during her life up until she was 17 and then what Aang and the Kyoshi warriors tell us about her in ATLA.
But to get back to this book: I really love it and I'll probably read it again. Kyoshi walks from one blunder to the next and Rangi watches her with horror while she's not really able to prevent most of them because of the rules and customs of the fire nation. And again, there are some really cute scenes between Kyoshi and Rangi. It may not have the best ever plot but I adore the characters so much, they probably could have eaten toast while bantering with each other over 300 pages and i'd be fine with that. So, not sure how much you should listen to my review.
