i didn’t really care for the plot of this one, but I do always love an atla world moment

F.C. Yee did a marvelous job giving us a glimpse into the ATLA universe under Kyoshi and even under Yangchen and Kuruk, whose reputation is redeemed. I throughly enjoyed reading both the Rise of Kyoshi and Shadow of Kyoshi, getting to meet a whole new ensamble of both lovable and flawed characters. Please write a third book because I never want Kyoshi’s adventures to end!

I honestly preferred The Shadow of Kyoshi over The Rise of Kyoshi! I thought this was an amazing book. I loved listening to Kyoshi make some tough decisions. She made mistakes, she had successes, and she showed tremendous growth from the first book.

I feel like the book ended itself nicely, but I wonder if a third book will be coming out about Kyoshi?! I sure hope so! I want more! I love Rangi and Kyoshi--they are adorable, and their relationship is heartwarming. ʕ•ᴥ•ʔっ♡

I am so excited to read The Legacy of Yangchen next!

Not as good as the first and I wanted it to be longer. But still enjoyable
