Meh. Bossy billionaire. Fake dating. Fall for each other. Have a bunch of sexy times. Break up. Get back together. It’s been done before and done better. I hate to DNF a book so I finished it but not a fan. Wasn’t terrible. But wasn’t good.

So rich guy is focused on making a big business deal, but the other guy is like I don't know about you. Then, the other guy's girlfriend walks up and to not seem like he is hitting on her -- rich tells him about his girlfriend.

Now, he has to find one for a date.

Enter Chloe.

Chloe is his mom's assitant - they definitely have love / hate vibes.

She gets roped into his scheme b/c he catches her throwing a bachelorette party and basically uses it to blackmail her.

Of course, they end up actually liking each other.

Then, you find out the other guy's gf is cheating on him -- but you don't tell anyone - you only care about the business deal, but then Chloe finds out and can tell you already know.

She's upset.

Somehow this turns into her confessing the truth to her boss / his mom about the whole party thing.

He then goes to close the business deal, but the other dude is like Look at this ring I just bought my gf and o shit. You decide to tell him.

He's pissed, but it was the right thing to do.

So they end up together???

This was good to start but fell a little flat towards the end. Or my mood changed. It was cute, but not extra special.

DID NOT FINISH: 50%

The book started off well and went downhill rather quickly. The characters are one dimensional, have no personality and no chemistry. The first strike for me was him blackmailing her into being his fake girlfriend while getting nothing in return, I really didn’t like how he was holding her job over her head. The second strike was him walking in on her pleasuring herself and instead of looking away immediately like a normal human being he just stared at her as she was rubbing one out until she realised. The third strike was him pleasuring himself on the bed while she was sleeping next to him and he was staring at her and fantasising about her as he was doing it. I found these three episodes to be disturbing and disgusting hence why I’m DNFing.

I put it down and did not feel inclined to pick it back up.
